Hi Em: I know you already know this, but I can't say it often enough. Grandpa and I are very proud of you for your way with animals. It takes a kind and empathetic person to keep animals from being afraid, and you certainly are that! Empathy means being able to imagine what the other person (or animal) is feeling. Oh my goodness Emily! If I saw a lizard I would scream and run a mile! You are very brave. There was a tiny spider in our living room yesterday and I had to go off and hide in a corner!!
Hi Emmy, I can't wait to see the lizards. When my sister Jo and I were young we used to put lizards on our coats and pretend they were brooches, and then when they moved they would scare people. How naughty! Love Nanny
